DAYBREAK provides transitional housing and supportive services to homeless families with children so that they can work toward recovering economic and familial stability.
There are several transitional housing units in the neighborhood. Families in DAYBREAK work within a goal-oriented, structured program on issues such as employment, education, budgeting, parenting skills, and counseling.
Volunteer mentors meet with them weekly, sharing their wisdom and experience. Training is also needed in preparing the apartments for families entering the program.
