Pastoral Ministers of Care are Deacons or practicing Catholics over the age of 18, who have completed specific training in theology, listening skills, pastoral and PPE procedures and sacramental rites. Our Ministers of Care (MOC) bring Jesus in the Holy Communion, prayer, emotional support and connection with the Church community to the homebound, immobile and infirm. The MOC at Saint Joan of Arc currently serve our community by:
CELEBRATING MASS
- Father John’s Celebration of Mass at the Lisle Creek Estates - Independent Living on the 2nd Tuesday each month
COMMUNION (MOC)
- Provide a weekly Communion Service at the Lisle Creek Estates – Independent Living each Tuesday
- Provide weekly Communion (in their room) to each Catholic at Commons of Lisle Creek Estates Skilled Nursing Facility
- Provide weekly Communion to each Catholic at Thrive Physical Rehab facility
- We Have MOC who also bring Communion to Edwards Hospital and Marion Joy
- Provide weekly Communion (upon request) to residents at Villa Saint Benedict
- Provide weekly Communion to the homebound at their private home or residence, as requested.
ROSARY
- Deacon Paul’s Rosary Group on Thursdays at Thrive Physical Rehab facility
