Religious Education Enrollment for 2026-2027
Religious Education registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.
As part of the RE program, SJA is pleased to offer the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) faith formation program for preschool and kindergarten children ages 3-6. The program meets on Sunday mornings from 10:45am-12:00pm.
Help Feed Our Neighbors in Need
St. Joan of Arc is seeking volunteers to help deliver donated food from our parish and school to the Fish Food Pantry in Downers Grove.
Religious Education Volunteers Needed
St. Joan of Arc Parish is seeking volunteers for our 2026–2027 Religious Education program.
The classes run from September through May on Sunday mornings immediately following the 9:30am Mass.
Volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is seeking volunteers to help answer phone messages and conduct home visits for neighbors in need.

Baptism Preparation Class
Parents preparing to have their child baptized are required to attend a Baptism Prep Class.
Godparents are also required to submit a sponsor eligibility form before the sacrament.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
All are welcome to join us for 8:15am Mass as we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Feast of the Assumption.
Since this Holy Day falls on a Saturday this year, the obligation to attend Mass has been lifted.
Blessing of Backpacks
As a new school year begins, all students are invited to bring their backpacks to the 11:30am Mass for a special blessing.
Whether your child attends St. Joan of Arc School, a local public or private school, or is heading off to college, all are welcome to participate.
